Drug war

I think I know something about this because it is 13 years since my son, a law student at the University of Birmingham, died from a heroin overdose. His death has dominated my life since.

He started smoking cannabis while at school and chose his friends from a drug taking group at Birmingham. I think he would be alive today if the school had not turned a blind eye to cannabis smoking and if the University had taken steps to make it difficult to deal in drugs on the University campus.

I wish the 'human rights' of my son had been infringed in order to prevent his drug taking.
