Milyen a mai magyar drogszcéna?

Milyen is a mai magyar drogszcéna? Ezt a kérdés sokszor teszik fel az újságírók. Egyesek csak arra kíváncsiak, hogy hányan is fogyasztanak illegális szereket Magyarországon - pedig ennek a számnak önmagában vajmi kevés jelentősége van. A többség ennél többre kíváncsi: milyenek is “a drogosok”, mit fogyasztanak, milyen az életük, milyen károkat okoz nekik a drogfogyasztás? Ahány szakembernek, aktivistának teszik fel ezt a kérdést, annyi választ fognak kapni. És ez nem feltétenül azért van, mert az egyik tudása, tapasztalata kevesebbet ér a másikénál, hanem mert más merítésből származik.

Ecstasy és víz: se túl sokat, se túl keveset!

A BalatonSound fesztiválon meghalt egy lány. Pedig nem kellett volna meghalnia, ha tisztában van azzal, hogy a túl kevés vagy a túl sok víz jóval veszélyesebb, mint az Ecstasy maga. Kevesebb víz és egy kis sós ropi megmenthette volna az életét.

Harm Reduction: Need for Political Leadership

At the national harm reduction conference in Budapest,  presenters from Greece, Romania and Hungary reported that there are similar problems and challenges in relation to injecting drug use in Southern-Central Europe, but there are huge differences between government responses. Lack of political leadership is leading to growing HIV and hepatitis C infections among drug users all over the region.

In 2012, the HCLU produced 154 movies, of which 76 are foreign-language, and 78 are in Hungarian. In 2013, we produced 64 movies - 16 in Hungarian and 48 in other languages.
