About the documentary film
The film takes us through one day in the life of eight people, from seven cities, in seven different countries of the world, from morning until night. They all have something in common - all of them use drugs. But these people are not defined by their drug use. All of them have their unique personalities, stories, and social networks. And the environment in which they live, the attitudes they face, the laws that regulate drug use, and the health services available to them have an enormous impact on their lives. This film is not only about drug users - it was also produced by drug users. It strives to challenge our common myths and preconceptions about drugs and the people who use them. It gives a voice to those representing one of the most marginalised communities of our world, to tell stories untold about hate, love, suffering, and happiness. It shows how they engage in social activism to break the silence and fight the stigma that shadows their days. The film won the golden medal for best documentary at the Online Video Award of Kreatív Magazine in 2017 in Hungary.

El documental nos lleva a través un día en la vida de siete personas, de siete ciudades, en siete países distintos del mundo; desde las primeras horas de la mañana hasta el anochecer. Todos tienen algo en común, todos ellos usan alguna droga. Pero estas personas no se definen por su uso de sustancias ilegales. Todos ellos tienen personalidades, historias y redes sociales únicas. El ambiente en el que viven, las actitudes que toman, las leyes que regulan el uso de drogas y los servicios de salud que tienen disponibles tienen un gran impacto en sus vidas. Esta película no es sólo sobre consumidores de drogas, también fue producido por usuarios de las mismas. Desafía los mitos comunes y preconcepciones sobre el tema y la gente que está involucrada. Le da una voz a los representantes de comunidades marginadas de nuestro mundo, historias aún no contadas sobre odio, amor, sufrimiento y felicidad. Muestra el cómo la gente se envuelve en activismo social para romper el silencio y combatir ese “estigma” que pudiera llegar a ensombrecer sus días. A filmben nyolc ember egy napját követhetjük nyomon a világ hét különböző országában. Egy dolog közös az életükben - Mindannyian illegális drogokat használnak, elsősorban heroint. Ezeknek az embereknek azonban nem a droghasználat az egyetlen jellemzőjük. Saját személyiségük, élettörténetük és társas kapcsolataik vannak. A környezet azonban amiben élnek, az előítéletek velük szemben, a törvények amelyeknek tárgyai és a szociális és egészségügyi segítség amelyhez vagy hozzáférnek, vagy nem, nagyban meghatározzák a sorsukat. Ez a film arra vállalkozik, hogy megkérdőjelezze a kábítószerekkel és használóikkal kapcsolatos általános sztereotípiákat. Hogy hangot adjon azoknak, akik a világ egyik legkirekesztettebb csoportjához tartoznak. Hogy elmondhassák történeteiket szeretetről, gyűlöletről, szenvedésről és boldogságról.
