{"id":23276,"date":"2012-04-12T12:12:00","date_gmt":"2012-04-12T10:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/drogriporter.hu\/?p=23276"},"modified":"2024-02-08T19:26:38","modified_gmt":"2024-02-08T18:26:38","slug":"lawyering-on-the-margins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/drogriporter.hu\/en\/lawyering-on-the-margins\/","title":{"rendered":"Lawyering on the Margins"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The HCLU produced two movies about human rights lawyers who met at a meeting in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Lawyering on the Margins\u201d is a unique global gathering of lawyers working with marginalized groups, namely people who use drugs, sex workers, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people (LGBT). It is a seminar for lawyers who are working towards social change, and believe that the law is an important means to achieving it. The HCLU&#8217;s video advocacy team traveled to Copenhagen last year, to film about them.
