You can now watch the recap video of the event here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ldbSFaQpjSw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop brought together Focal Points from Correlation\u2019s 2024 and upcoming 2025 City Reports, featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/correlation-net.org\/2024\/04\/09\/city-report-warsaw-a-critical-review-of-the-harm-reduction-landscape-in-the-district-of-praga\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Warsaw<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/correlation-net.org\/2024\/04\/09\/city-report-balti-violating-confidentiality-the-disclosure-of-medical-data-of-people-who-use-drugs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">B\u0103l\u0163i<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/correlation-net.org\/2024\/04\/09\/city-report-esch-sur-alzette-establishing-a-drug-consumption-room-in-a-small-scale-city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Esch-sur-Alzette<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/correlation-net.org\/2024\/04\/09\/city-report-london-the-disproportionate-harms-of-drug-prohibition-on-oppressed-peoples\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">London<\/a>, and Bratislava, as well as contributors to the 2023 case study research \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/drogriporter.hu\/en\/critical-partners-the-role-of-civil-society-in-drug-policies-in-four-eu-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Level and Quality of Civil Society Involvement in Drug Policy<\/a>\u201d, from Finland, Greece, and Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City Reports are a core part of C-EHRN\u2019s<a href=\"https:\/\/correlation-net.org\/project\/civil-society-led-monitoring-of-harm-reduction-in-europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Civil Society-led Monitoring of Harm Reduction<\/a>, providing a detailed look at innovative harm reduction initiatives and pressing challenges in five European cities. These reports can serve as advocacy tools to engage policymakers and drive improvements in local drug policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel, the 2023 <a href=\"https:\/\/drogriporter.hu\/en\/critical-partners-the-role-of-civil-society-in-drug-policies-in-four-eu-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">case study research<\/a> evaluates how civil society is involved in drug policy decisions, building on principles set by the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.civilsocietyforumondrugs.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Civil Society Forum on Drugs <\/a>(CSFD) in 2021. This study examines the implementation of <a href=\"https:\/\/drogriporter.hu\/en\/quality-standards-for-civil-society-involvement-in-drug-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Quality Standards for Civil Society Involvement<\/a> in Drug Policy across Europe, with a focus on four European countries: Finland, Greece, Hungary and Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the framework of the ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/correlation-net.org\/2024\/09\/11\/advocacy-workshop-in-budapest-strengthening-civil-societys-role-in-drug-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Advocacy Mentorship Project<\/a>, the Budapest workshop provided a collaborative platform for harm reduction organisations to openly discuss their advocacy efforts. During the first session, participants shared updates on their work, highlighting progress and identifying areas for future focus. The second session, dedicated to capacity building, offered practical training on media communication. He is author of several articles on harm reduction and cameraman, editor, director and co-director of more than 700 online videos, among them longer documentaries, such as \u201cKostya Proletarsky\u201d (2020), \u201cTaking Back What\u2019s Ours: An Oral History of the Movement of People who Use Drugs\u201d (2020) \u201dA Day in the Life: The World of Humans Who Use Drugs\u201d (2016), \u201cWithout Rights\u201d (2009), \u201cWithout a Chance\u201d (2014), \u201cRoom in the 8th District\u201d (2014) and \u201cThe Invisible\u201d (2011).
