The Czech government is reportedly dismissing National Drug Coordinator Pavel B\u00e9m and dismantling the country\u2019s internationally respected evidence-based drug policy model in a move experts warn could shift policy toward a more punitive and ideological direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Czech Republic has long been regarded as one of Europe\u2019s leading examples of evidence-based drug policy. For more than three decades, the country has built an internationally respected system that combines harm reduction, public health, social support, prevention, and pragmatic regulation.
