Our Hungarian language animated promotional video won first prize in the \u2018PR video\u2019 category<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>HCLU is one of the participating NGOs in the <a href=\"https:\/\/countthecosts.org\/\">Count the Costs<\/a> campaign, which urges governments to evaluate the impacts of the 50-year-old UN drug control system and explore its alternatives. We have produced seven thematic films on the topic of seven types of costs. The first one is about one of the most compelling issues, the human rights impacts of the global war on drugs. The video was produced by P\u00e9ter S\u00e1rosi and Istv\u00e1n G\u00e1bor Tak\u00e1cs. The second film in the series is about stigma and discrimination, and <a href=\"https:\/\/drogriporter.hu\/en\/stigma\">is available here<\/a>. The series won the best web video series award together with Origo.hu.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-6P30Wjkn24?rel=0;3&amp;autohide=1&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<strong>You can turn on the English subtitles by starting the video and then clicking on the &#8220;cc&#8221; button.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The winner of the PR category was our Hungarian language fundraising film, which was made by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.majordesign.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MAJOR DESIGN<\/a> for a fraction of its original budget, with the pro bono narration of actress Patr\u00edcia Kov\u00e1cs. We congratulate them and thank them very much again for their great work!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9TPfKn5ESVs?rel=0;3&amp;autohide=1&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>You can turn on the English subtitles by starting the video and then clicking on the &#8220;cc&#8221; button.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A third film submitted by the HCLU also made the short list. This video was about the segregation of Roma children in the Hungarian village, G\u00f6ngy\u00f6spata. HirTv in Hungary claimed that all those who say there is segregation are lying. We proved in our video that segregation does exist and that the television channel is biased.
