Press conference on the UNGASS drug review in Budapest – video

The United Nations Association of Hungary organized a press conference on the International Day Against Drug Abuse, June 26, 2008. The title of the event was “The Evaluation of the 10 years drug strategy of the UN”.<\/p>\n

Dr. Istv\u00e1n Bayer<\/b>, professor of pharmacology, who represented Hungary at the Commission on Narcotic Drugs for 12 years, Eva Tounge<\/b>, the president of the Vienna NGO Committee, and Peter Sarosi<\/b>, the\u00a0 Drug Policy Director of HCLU spoke about the review of the implementation of the goals adopted at the UNGASS on drugs in 1998 – from a non-governmental point of view.<\/p>\n
