July 9, 2018 | Author: Cara Lavan

A story from Anyone’s Child Kenya about a mourning mother and sister. Watch the latest video of Anyone’s Child Campaign and Cara Lavan supported by the Drugreporter.

A childhood illness left Mwasuma unable to walk unaided. Growing up, he found that cannabis and heroin helped him be socially accepted and to be able to work. But his drug use got him into trouble with the law and he ended up dying of drug related complications and leaving his family much worse off as they relied on him for financial support. In Mombasa, Kenya, his mother Mwana and his sister Fatuma tell his story.

Anyone’s Child is a growing global network of families whose lives have been destroyed by the drug war and are collectively speaking out for the need to control and regulate drugs.

If you’ve been impacted, no matter where you are in the world, and have a story to share please get in contact info@anyoneschild.org.uk
