EDPI Partner from Sweden
Svenska Brukarföreningen/Swedish Drug Users’ Union (SDUU) was founded in October 2002 by users of both legal and illegal drugs, the first ever genuine drug user organisation in Sweden. SDUU’s vision is to reduce the harm caused by licit and illicit drugs to individuals and to society. In order to achieve this vision, Swedish drug policy must be based on science, health, human rights and the experiences of people who use drugs. SDUU has a national office in Stockholm, five local organisations and a parent and friend section with a total of approximately 1,400 members.
