Public Policy Debate: ‘Drugs – It’s About Health, Not Policing’

The Central European University and the Open Society Foundations organized a public policy debate on illicit drugs – the debate was opened by George Soros. Please watch our video!

In collaboration with the Open Society Foundation’s Global Drug Policy Program, the CEU School of Public Policy organized a debate devoted to complex and interdisciplinary issues raised by illicit drugs and global and national policy responses to drugs.The debate, opened by George Soros and moderated by Balazs Denes, focused on what some see as incompatible objectives of national drug policy – ensuring public health and conducting effective policing.
