The United Nations Association of Hungary organized a press conference on the International Day Against Drug Abuse, June 26, 2008. The title of the event was “The Evaluation of the 10 years drug strategy of the UN”.
István Bayer, an outstanding drug policy expert who represented Hungary at the Commission on Narcotic Drugs for 12 years, Eva Tounge, the president of the Vienna NGO Committee, and Peter Sarosi, the Drug Policy Director of HCLU were also among the speakers.
